18:1. தாவீது தன்னோடிருந்த ஜனங்களை இலக்கம் பார்த்து, அவர்கள்மேல் ஆயிரத்துக்கு அதிபதிகளையும், நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதிகளையும் வைத்து,

18:1. தாவீது தன் ஆட்களை எண்ணிப் பார்த்தான். 1,000 பேருக்கு ஒரு படைத்தலைவனாகவும் 100 பேருக்கு ஒரு படைத்தலைவனாகவும் ஜனங்களை வழி நடத்துவோரை நியமித்தான்.
